Ever wonder how DaKa Cozy Creations got its name? Credits go to our amazing rescued furboys: Dapper and Kai!
Both are Catahoula Leopard Curs (though they are not from the same litter) and are completely deaf. They sure are keeping our family on our toes 24/7! They inspire warmth, resilience, and love which is all things I hope to bring into my cozy creations.
My Why…
Welcome to DaKa Creations! 🖤💜
I’m Roberta, a Deaf & lesbian artist and the hands behind DaKa Creations. What started with cozy handmade chunky blankets has grown into a passion for creating one-of-a-kind broken glass and mixed-media art.
Every piece is handmade with its own personality using broken glass, texture, color, 3D details, and a whole lot of creativity. No two pieces are exactly alike, and I love creating everything from beautiful everyday décor to seasonal, whimsical, gothic, Deaf-inspired, and custom designs.
Thank you for supporting handmade art and my growing small business. Every order, share, and kind word truly means more than you know.
Made with love,
Roberta
